I can understand that some things might not appeal to all tastes. But Greece has definitely something for everyone. What kind of experiences were you hoping for when you visited? Is there anything specific you want to share with us?

Hey, thanks for watching! First of all, even if you don't visit any of these places, you can still have an amazing time just by staying in town and visit Kalamata beach. The whole beach front which is many miles long is full of restaurants, taverns and gyros/souvlaki shops. Kalamata town beach gets really crowded during the weekends so prefer the spot at the east side near Filoxenia hotel (buses are pretty frequent until this point). It's really amazing there, water sports also available. Most of the places seen in this video are outside the town but they add that extra something to the experience. As for local transport and bus schedules, I don't have personal experience but if I am not mistaken they are not that frequent to the cool spots outside the town. I'm afraid that renting a car or a scooter, is the only option if you really want to visit them.

You're right, Serifos isn't known for lush greenery. However, its beauty lies in its dramatic landscapes and charming villages. Perhaps one of the other Cycladic islands, like Naxos or Andros, might be a better fit for you. If you're looking for lots of green and flowers then definitely check out the Ionian islands.

Hey, thanks for watching! We stayed in a very small village called Flomochori. It's very close to Kotronas (East Mani). We were lucky enough to rent a brand new tower house just outside the village and it was so peaceful, which of course made the experience even better. I see if it's still on Airbnb and I'll come back with more info. At that time it was 90 Euros per night. I'm sure it will be higher priced these days. As far as driving goes, yeah, prepare for lots of it if you want to see it all. And hopefully it's not blazing hot the time you visit as it will add a little more fatigue to the experience. No matter what, you can't go wrong with that part of the Peloponnese.

Αν εννοείς για καφέ, φαγητό και μια βόλτα στο λιμάνι, ναι αξίζει. Ότι απόσταση θα έκανες στην Αθήνα για να πας κάπου μακριά, το ίδιο θα κάνεις με το πλοίο. Σου συνιστώ να πάρεις φυστίκια Αιγίνης από κάποιο πωλητή στο λιμάνι ή σε κάποιο σοκάκι. Φθηνότερα από αλλού και πεντανόστιμα (ακόμη τα θυμάμαι). Στην παραλία δίπλα στο λιμάνι (Καρνάγιο) πάντως κάνει ο κόσμος μπάνιο (μην με ρωτήσεις για την ποιότητα του νερού, δεν το έκανα). Από την άλλη, Άγιος Νεκτάριος και Ναός Αφαίας είναι πολύ κοντά, με συχνά δρομολόγια οπότε αν σου βγαίνει κάντο.

Yeah, some of the beaches are pretty remote and difficult to access, like Egremni. Best to visit this particular beach by boat. Unless you wanna go up 350 stairs. Rest aren't that hard to reach if you don't mind driving.
